Do you want to hear the good news or the bad news? Let’s start with the bad news. If you are looking to register your KRA PIN using the KRA Integrated Tax Management System (ITMS), well it has been disabled.
It seems KRA has disabled the registration of KRA PIN on the ITMS platform as part of the migration to the new iTax system.
As I tried to check out the iTax system website, I was applaud by the loading speed which takes too long to load. However the loading speed could be caused by the huge traffic all over the country of people rushing to register their KRA PIN or make returns online for their personal or business.
The good news is that the iTax system seems to have new functionality and it’s more user friendly than the previous ITMS system. Here is the sneek peak of what you will be seeing more and more.
In a paid advertisement on the newspaper some few days ago, KRA announced that they will no longer accept any manual returns in any of their offices, which means that everyone will need to learn how to perform such tasks online.

Hi fenesi, im joab im asole propritor company that i regestered back 2005 this company was not in operation until recently when i perchased an etr machine
now iseem to be confused because i used to make my returns for the bussines
using my personal pin as advised by the kra officials because my regestered bussines had no pin my quation is is this in order if no what im i suppose to do.
