What you need to do is enable the VAT obligation on your KRA PIN Certificate and that will allow you to use your KRA PIN number for VAT purposes. Hope that helps.

the tax obligation is icome tax .

If yes, you need to check if there was any tax obligation on your company PIN. Limited companies require to make nil returns even if its not trading.
