Nakumatt Gets Green Light To Buyout Stores In Western Kenya

Seen as an expansion plan to take advantage of growing economy in the counties, Nakumatt has been given a green light by Competition Authority to purchase three stores in western Kenya belonging to Yako Supermarket.

This move shows business confidence that is on a rise at the county level since the new constitution took effect in 2010. County Governments seems to be doing something right in creating a conducive environment for businesses in order to attract investments that will see unemployment reduce and economy grow.

The stores that Nakumatt will be acquiring are located at Bungoma, Busia and Kakamega.
