How To Upgrade Your Sole Proprietor To Partnership

Are you looking to upgrade your Sole Proprietor to Partnership, well it is very simple.

You will be required to submit your sole proprietor certificate (Business Registration Certificate) to the company registry as you proceed to fill a notice of cessation of a sole proprietor form.

In order to do that, you will need to fill BN/6 form in which will cost you just Ksh. 200

After that process, you will now need to take and fill BN/2 form with the business details but make sure now that you will now add your new partners in section 7 (Particulars of proprietor or partners)

You will now need to wait for 10 working days in order to have a new Business Registration Certificate which will contain the names of the new partners on the certificate.
