Entrepreneurs in Ecobank can now enjoy a new online system that has just been launched, Ecobank Omni is a system that offers a comprehensive suite of flexible online cash management solutions. At the present day and age, internet banking is becoming a necessity and this is an addition to their retail internet banking. According to Mr. David Mutinda, internet banking is the only 24hr branch that exists for banks and serves clients at the comfort of their homes.
Among the main features that Omni boasts of is its integrated access as it comes in two languages, English and French, and has 17 different currencies and can be operated across several countries, you would only need to access one account and be opened to all your other Ecobank accounts as well as in other banks.
It supports all payments enabling one to give payments instructions locally, regionally as well as internationally and multiple payments as well. Collections have also been made easier by the system and are done on a single platform.

According to the bank, the security features are standardized having multiple tiers of firewall, a 128 bit SSL encryption a tech guru term for secure communication protocol encrypting client information during transmission. There also exists a password, username, and a token that is necessary for logging in.
Other features include, real-time transaction, statement available for operating, investment and loan accounts, downloadable transaction history, liquidity management and integration with Client ERP platforms.
There will be a 24hr contact centre that features a 12hr service from Kenya and a 24hr toll free call service based in Accra.
